Mentzen on Kaczyński: "political gangster." Czarnek to Mentzen: Are you crazy?

In response to Mentzen's words, PiS deputy chairman Przemysław Czarnek published a post on Platform X on Wednesday. "Dear Mr. Mentzen, have you lost your mind? You've crossed the line of even uncivilized polemics multiple times in this statement," Czarnek emphasized. "Perhaps when you calm down, you'll come to the conclusion that an apology is worthwhile, even for humane reasons. In the meantime, please remove me from the guest list for the so-called beer with Mentzen. After statements like yours, it's simply impossible. Who knows? Maybe this is exactly what you wanted?" the PiS deputy chairman wrote.

Mentzen's statement was also criticized by another PiS MP, Radosław Fogiel: "I wouldn't want to delve into that kind of aesthetics, because then I'd have to say that Sławomir Mentzen is a political brat because he behaves like a spoiled brat, " Fogiel said on Polsat News. "I have the impression that his entourage and Sławomir Mentzen himself have lost their minds, that the platform has gone off the rails."
PiS MEP Waldemar Buda also weighed in on Mentzen's comments. " Was this man sober when he said this? I have serious doubts, " he told Polsat News. Buda also commented on a fragment of a statement by one of the Confederation leaders, in which he spoke about the consequences of a coalition with Kaczyński. "If someone says they have cancer and it's the result of Jarosław Kaczyński's actions, in the case of Mr. Zbigniew Ziobro, if someone had depression, a breakdown, or struggled with illness, is it the result of Chairman Jarosław Kaczyński's actions? This man is completely unserious, " Buda said.
Mentzen also posted on X, addressing the reactions his words provoked: "When I criticize Tusk, I'm told it's because I'm in agreement with PiS. When I criticize Kaczyński, it turns out I want to reach an agreement with Tusk. And I don't want to be dependent on either of them. I don't belong to the mafia, I don't belong to a sect. I'm going straight," he wrote.
"I want something to finally change in Poland, for real change to finally happen after so many years of PiS and PO rule, for this sick relationship between two 70-year-olds who have been fueling voters for 20 years with their mutual hatred, to the detriment of Poland. This relationship is slowly coming to an end, and I will do everything I can to end it as quickly as possible!"
